Brookdale Big Band Live at the Performing Arts Center on Saturday, Apr. 26

The Brookdale Big Band is comprised of professional musicians from the Central New Jersey area and features Brookdale's Barbara Baron as solo vocalist. Other well known players in the Big Band include Gary Mazzaroppi (Les Paul, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame) and Joe Mosello (Frank Sinatra, Johnny Mathis).

The AAUW, in partnership with the Girl Scouts of America and Brookdale, is sponsoring this program about engineering for 5th and 6th grade girls. Students from Rutgers and members of the Brookdale W.E.S.T. (Women in Engineering Science and Technology) Club will work with the students.

Brookdale Music Department's Acoustic Artist Series on May 2

On the final Friday of each month, the Brookdale Music Department (aligned with the Brookdale Music Connection) hosts a one-hour acoustic set of music that is performed by our students. The April 25 event is free and open to the public, and is held in the Music Department lounge (lower level Bankier Library) starting at 7 PM.
