In addition, the Center assists faculty in developing and promoting short-term faculty-led study abroad trips. These are overseas excursions which are embedded into existing Brookdale courses and are typically offered during one of the summer terms. Detailed informationa is available in the Handbook for Faculty-led Study Abroad Programs. The deadlines for proposals are April 1 for winterim courses and May 1 for summer courses.
EDUCATIONAL SERVICES MASTER PLAN FOR INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION
In April 2010, the College completed a campus-wide strategic planning process, which resulted in the Educational Services Master Plan (ESMP) 2020. The complete document is accessible from the web pages of the Executive Vice President for Educational Services. The International Education Center chapter of ESMP 2020 outlines broad goals and action items that will be used to promote campus-wide internationalization through 2020.
