JOSEPH M. DiBELLA is Managing Director and Executive Vice President of the benefits consulting practice at Conner Strong & Buckelew, a national insurance advisory. He plays an active and ongoing role with larger clients and is engaged in program and product design, financial evaluation and data analytics, ERISA compliance, communications, collective bargaining, benefits administration, and other key areas of health and benefit plans.
DiBella has spent nearly 25 years in benefits and consulting, supporting large businesses related to their benefit plans. He spent 14 years with Horizon Blue Cross/Blue Shield of New Jersey in senior leadership positions, including leading National and Large Account business.
In addition, DiBella is a long-time public servant, having served as a councilman and board of education member in Sayreville, NJ. Most recently, he was the directly elected Mayor of Howell Township from 2005 to 2008. As mayor, he led an overhaul of many aspects of municipal operations, including the elimination of duplicate services, saving taxpayers millions.
DiBella and his wife, son and daughter reside in Howell Township, where DeBilla serves as a baseball coach and volunteer with the North Howell Little League
