Brookdale is the county college of Monmouth County, New Jersey – a diverse county with approximately 648,000 residents. Brookdale offers AA, AFA, AS, and AAS degrees in 67 academic programs including options, 4 Academic Credit Certificates, and 11 Academic Credit Certificates of Achievement. In addition, non-degree courses/non-credit courses are offered through Brookdale’s Office of Continuing & Professional Studies. This division also provides courses that are specially tailored to meet the training needs of local businesses.

Most of the credit and non-credit programs are offered at our centrally-located main campus in Lincroft, as well as regional locations in Freehold, Wall Township, Neptune, and Long Branch. Classes and training can also be made available in places of work or in local high schools. Brookdale also offers fully online degree programs in Business Administration, English, History, Liberal Arts, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, and Social Sciences. A fully online Academic Credit Certificate of Achievement is available in Cybersecurity.

Noncredit Open Enrollment:

7,480 enrollments (duplicated headcount); reflecting 4,309 individuals. Approximately four out of 10 (2,866 or 38.3%) enrollments were in vocational or career-oriented courses, and 6 out of 10 (4,614 or 61.7%) were in avocational or “leisure” courses. The 4,309 individuals enrolled for a total of 240,582 contact hours or 534.6 FTEs.

Customized Training Courses:

202 course sections were delivered to 146 different companies and schools;
2,005 participants enrolled for a total of 41,573 hours of training
