The International Education Center provides information for faculty, staff, and administrators who wish to participate in a diverse array of international and domestic opportunities. This webpage offers a starting point for information concerning grants, fellowships, study-abroad programs, teaching tools, as well as professional development opportunities.
An overview of international opportunities can be found at the ALA website: Foundations and Organizations Supporting International Exchanges and/or Short-term Travel.
In addition, the International Education Center assists faculty in developing and promoting faculty-led study abroad trips. These short-term trips are international and domestic excursions that are embedded into existing Brookdale courses. Detailed information is available in the Handbook for Faculty-led Study Abroad Programs. The deadline for proposals is April 1 for winterim or spring-break programs and May 1 for summer programs.
For more information about the exciting opportunities available to Brookdale faculty, staff, and administrators, please contact Kelsey Maki, IEC faculty liaison: email@example.com
The International Education Center Educational Services Operational Plan serves as the department’s strategic plan, which outlines broad goals and action items that will be used to promote campus-wide internationalization.
