Mapping Surface and Deep-Water Currents in the Atlantic Ocean Using Radar Systems and Underwater Drones

Guest Speaker: Ethan M. Handel, Research Project Coordinator for Rutgers Coastal Ocean Observation Lab

Project Coordinator Handel will discuss the significance of surface and deep-water currents as well as his team’s efforts to map these currents using state-of-the-art radar systems and underwater drones. The drone program was recently described in a New York Times article.
