This month’s Visiting Writers Series event is a poetry panel and reading featuring a panel of contemporary poets discussing the work and influence of a leading poet of our time, Stephen Dunn.
The panelists are all contributors to an anthology on Dunn, The Room and the World: Essays on the Poet Stephen Dunn, published by Syracuse University Press in 2013 and edited by Brookdale’s own Laura McCullough
The panel will be followed by a reading by guest poet Stephen Dunn. Dunn is the author of sixteen books, including Different Hours, which won the 2001 Pulitzer Prize for Poetry. Dunn is Distinguished Professor of Creative Writing at Richard Stockton College.
