Compose your own character
introduction. Start by brainstorming
on what the character will be like. Think about his or her dominant
traits and make a list. After, speculate on the best way to show these
traits to a reader. Where should the reader first see a character? What
should that character be doing? How should he or she appear?
You may brainstorm on paper,
but your opening description should
be written as a word document and saved to your portfolio.
