Water Advisory Lifted - All Water Services to Be Restored Shortly
Published on Tuesday, July 03, 2012

The local "boil water" advisory has been lifted, and water has been declared safe for consumption by the NJ American Water Company.

According to the company’s website, “Customers no longer need to boil water before consumption as water quality results for bacteriological samples show that the water meets all state and federal water quality standards.”

General Campus Information - Please Note

Before using water, allow all faucets to run for 3-5 minutes at the highest flow rate to flush the pipes.

Water fountains will be flushed by Brookdale Facilities staff later today when the fountains are turned back on.

Sanitation measures are currently underway in Dining Services and the Jersey Blues Dining Room will reopen on Friday, July 6.  Until then, pre-packaged snacks will continue to be available for purchase in the Jersey Blues Dining Room, the Paddock Convenience Store, and Larrison Hall.

The Children’s Learning Center will reopen on Thursday, July 5.

Showers in the Fitness Center are available. The pipes have been flushed, so there is no need to run the water prior to use.

NJ American Water Company continues to work toward full restoration of service. Please continue to use water judiciously to ensure adequate water pressure.

Thank you!
