Short Term Faculty Led Study Abroad: Rome and Florence, May 2014
Through an independent study course, you’ll have the opportunity to study Italy’s historical styles of art, architecture, furniture and interiors at first hand.
Both Rome and Florence are rich with so many historical styles dating back to antiquity. No need to be an art, architecture or interior design major/specialist to explore some of the most important roots of today’s western cultures.
Led by an English-speaking guide on both walking and coach tours, you’ll explore the ancient city of Rome and its earliest buildings, homes and communities, then experience the awakening of the Middle Ages known as the Renaissance.
Enroll for an independent study course in either Architecture Independent Study (ARCH 295) or Art Independent Study (ARTS 295).
Faculty leaders are Professor of Interior Design Patty Blaser firstname.lastname@example.org and Professor of Art Tony Blaser email@example.com
