Each guest lecture will be held on Thursday in MAS 100 from 11:45am – 1:15pm.
Final lecture for Fall Term: Thursday, November 21-Linda Burroughs and Chris Anderson
Linda Burroughs is an Assistant Professor of Elementary and Early Childhood Education at The College of New Jersey. The presentation will consist of an analysis of the designation "STEM" and related thinking challenges for the audience. It will address teaching in the 21st century, the change from subject teaching to subject integration, best represented by iSTEM approaches and problem based learning. Developing a more creative mind set is critical for dealing with economic development and new careers in our future as well as better applied learning in the classroom.
