The first part of the Chemistry Olympiad is being held on Tuesday, March 27, from 4:00-7:00 in the Twin Lights rooms of the Student Life Center. It is a 60 question multiple choice test for high school students who compete against other high school students around the country.
The top 5 scorers come back in April for the second part of the Olympiad, which involves another multiple choice test, an essay test, and a lab practical. The 10 highest scorers in the country attend a 1-week science camp at the Naval Academy in Colorado and the best 5 represent the USA against students from other countries.
