M. Dickson is a jaded optimist. The glass is half empty but the juice is friggin’ delicious. In 2012, M’s debut book Dear Dad, It’s Over was published by Wyatt-MacKenzie, topped the Amazon list of best sellers and was called “a must read” by Lewis Black. Later that year she, along with writing partner Jeny Batten, sold a television project to Universal Cable Productions. M headlines colleges on The College Agency’s roster in addition to touring clubs and opening theater shows for notable acts like Kathleen Madigan. She recently joined the list of contributing writers to Saturday Night Live’s Weekend Update and television credits include MTV, FUSE, CBS Sunday Morning and Last Comic Standing.
