Brookdale Innovation Grants (BIG)

Purpose

The purpose of Brookdale Innovation Grants (BIG) is to encourage creative thinking and innovation to enhance educational programs and improve services to students. This grant program is sponsored by the Brookdale Community College Foundation, the College’s General Fund, and the Professional Development Standing Committee of Governance. Approximately 10-12 grants ranging from $1,400 to $1,600 will be awarded from the $16,000 funding available this year.

Full-time faculty, staff, and administrators are invited to submit proposals which demonstrate both innovation and collaboration and display a clear benefit to the college. Projects must be aligned with the college’s current strategic priorities and address initiatives identified in Department Plans (DP). (Department Plans can be obtained through the Department or Division Chairs.)
