NJ Stars

NJ STARS provides two years of free tuition (and limited fees) for full time community college students who graduated in the top 20% of their New Jersey high school class! 

It is the first statewide program to guarantee that every student who performs at the top of his or her high school class will have access to a college education. 

Are you a STARS student?  While at Brookdale you must apply for financial aid, must attend full time, and must be taking 12 (non-remedial) credits. The amount of your scholarship

is determined by adding up your tuition, fees, and any equipment charges, then subtracting any existing federal and state grants. You are eligible to receive this assistance for up to five semesters.
