Advisement & CounselingWelcome to Advisement & Counseling! We are here to help you make the most out of your experience here at Brookdale.
It is the responsibility of the counselor to assist degree students in selecting courses which meet particular goals. After discussion with the student, the Advisor or Counselor will generate a program plan form or a course registration form. Students are then prepared to register, and should do so at the Office of Registration on the first available date. Degree students are encouraged to make an appointment before registering for any subsequent term. If you have not met with an Advisor or Counselor to plan your fall schedule, please call today to schedule an appointment. Brookdale's enrollment has broken records and classes are closing. The longer you wait, the less choices you will have.

The Advising and Counseling Department is located on the 2nd floor of the CAR building on the Lincroft campus, and counselors are available during school hours. Advisors and Counselors are also available at the Student Success Centers during posted times at the Higher Education Centers and the Western Monmouth Branch Campus. All students are required to meet with an Advisor or Counselor for course approvals until they reach 24 degree credits and are in good academic standing.
