SHORT-TERM PROGRAMS

Each year the International Education Center hosts a series of faculty led short-term programs during the summer and winter term, lasting from 10-14 days .  Programs, led by Brookdale faculty, take students outside the traditional classroom and allow them a firsthand look at the history and culture which often times is only portrayed through lectures and textbooks.  Students earn 3 hours of course credit for successful completion of the program and its related components.

These programs are open to both students and the community.  Acceptance to the program determined by the order in which applications are received.  Past programs include Ghana, Ireland, Greece, Ecuador, Paris, Rwanda, Japan, Italy.  Scholarships are available for those students who qualify.
