Western Monmouth Project

The first, third, and fourth floors of the Branch Campus at Freehold will be renovated between February 2009 and January 2010.  The $6.7 million project should yield a 50-percent increase in capacity for classrooms and computer labs.

The first phase will be the third and fourth floors focusing on media classrooms, study areas, and faculty offices. All new science labs and classrooms will be an important feature.

New classrooms will be fully tech-capable for a variety of academic disciplines offered by both Brookdale and our Western Monmouth partner, Rutgers University. In addition, the new facility will have dedicated areas for noncredit courses and community programs.

During the second phase, the College will reconstruct the first floor, including the Student Success Center and an entry lobby with information desk.

A new heating and air-conditioning system will be installed building wide for the 38,000-square-foot facility.
