Three Cups of Tea: Knowledge is Power
The Alumni Association joined with PTK to launch this new college service project. Making a difference in the lives of Middle Eastern children through education is our vision as we strive to raise the funds necessary to build a school there in the name of Brookdale. This is strictly a humanitarian effort - people helping people. To date, nearly $27,000 has been raised towards the $35,000 goal. The early success of this effort prompted Greg Mortenson, Executiv eDirector of the Central Asia Institute (CAI) and author of Three Cups of Tea to authorize building of the Brookdale School. For more information contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
