ESL 011: Elementary ESL I

This course is designed for students with limited knowledge of the English language. Strong emphasis will be in both language and culture. Grammatical patterns and syntax will be introduced with the aim that students read and write what they have learned to say and understand. This is a developmental course and will not be counted toward degree requirements

ESL 011 is an intensive section which meets in the first half of Fall and Spring semesters and also in the Summer I semester.

ESL 012: Elementary ESL I
|
|
Students will build upon skills acquired in the first semester course and will be able to express themselves in a variety of more complex situations in English. This is a developmental course and will not be counted toward degree requirements. (Prerequisite: A grade of "C" or higher in ESL-011 or as a result of a placement test)

ESL 012 is an intensive section which meets in the second half of Fall and Spring semesters and also in the Summer III semester.
