New Degree Offering: Political Science
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, will begin offering a Bachelors Degree in Political Science at Brookdale's Western Monmouth Branch Campus in Freehold starting January 2010.
The Department of Political Science offers a wide range of courses that students have found useful in preparation for careers in law, in government service, and in public affairs, as well as for graduate studies in political science and public policy. The department curriculum is designed to provide an in-depth understanding of politics and government in the United States, foreign countries, and the international system. Courses are equally valuable for career-oriented majors and for students interested in developing a well-rounded liberal arts background.
