Q. Can I register for all Continuing Education classes online?

A. The following course offerings are not available for online registration:

  • Contract Training
  • Brookdale Literacy Connection and Math/Science Network
  • Career Counseling
  • Enrichment Opportunities Program
  • SCOPE Center For Technology Training
  • Motorcycle Training
  • New Pathways to Teaching
  • Summer Camps
  • Bayshore Environmental Education School Programs

Q. How can I pay for courses when I register online?

A. Payments must be made by credit card. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.

Q. How can I register for a course if I prefer to pay by check?

A. Download the registration form and mail it with your check to: Business & Community Development, Brookdale Community College, Attention: Registration Desk, 765 Newman Springs Road, Lincroft, NJ 07738-1543 

You can also register and pay in-person at our offices in the ATeC building on the Lincroft Campus, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Q. Can I register myself and my spouse or friend for a course using online registration?

A. No. Only one individual can register online. You can, of course, register for multiple courses. If you would like to register more than one person for a course, please call Customer Service at 732-224-2315 between 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. 

Q. Can I redeem my gift certificate online?

A. No. To redeem your gift certificate, please call Customer Services at 732-224-2315 between 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday to register.

Q. The course I want to register for is full. How can I get placed on the waiting list?

A. Please call 732-224-2315 or send an email to bcd@brookdalecc.edu with your request to be placed on the waiting list. Please include the following: name, address, daytime telephone number, course code, start date and time.

You can also call Customer Service at 732-224-2315 between 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and you will be placed on the waiting list. If a seat becomes available, you will be contacted.

Q. Can I cancel a course online?

A. No. To cancel a course, please call Customer Service at 732-224-2315 between 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. 

Refund Policy

A $15 processing fee will be deducted from all refunds.

Our refund policy regarding cancellations is the following:

  • 10 or more days before the beginning of a class: 100% refund of full course fee
  • 9 to 5 days before the start of class: 50% refund of full course fee
  • Less than 5 days before class start date: no refund.

There are no refunds for trips, ticketed events and specified training programs.

Healthcare Training, Nursing and Radiologic Technology Continuing Education Refund Policy

Certificate programs with a course code beginning with XMEDC, XMEDD, XMEDG and XMEDR, as well as RN Refresher course (XMEDN 007) and Operating Room Nursing (XMEDN 006):

  • 21 or more days before the beginning of a class: 100% refund of full course fee
  • 20 to 10 days before the start of class: 50% refund of full course fee
  • Less than 10 days before class start date: no refund.

For all other Healthcare Training and Nursing Continuing Education courses, the refund policy is as follows:

  • 10 or more days before the beginning of a class: 100% refund of full course fee
  • 9 to 5 days before the start of class: 50% refund of full course fee
  • Less than 5 days before class start date: no refund.

 All refunds will be issued in the form of a check. Please allow two to four weeks for processing.

Appeal Process

Only under extreme, extenuating circumstances would an appeal be considered beyond that point. Registrants requesting an appeal must do so in writing, stating their reason, providing supporting documentation. (i.e., medical note from doctor, accident report, etc.) and include course name and start date. The appeal should be sent to Marie Lucier-Woodruff, Executive Director, Outreach, Business & Community Development, Brookdale Community College, 765 Newman Springs Road, Lincroft, NJ 07738.

Q. I have a documented disability. How can I arrange for a special accommodation?

A. Please contact Disability Services at 732-224-2730.

Q. I forgot my User ID and password. How can I obtain them?

A. Please call the Brookdale Community College WebAdvisor Help Desk at 732-224-2632 between 7:30 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Friday, and 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. A Help Desk representative will assist you.
