GOLD STAR AWARDS

The Gold Star Awards are held every year by the Student Life Board of Brookdale Community College to recognize those people and organizations who have made a special contribution to college life. It is a celebration of the successes of the past academic year and is held annually at the end of the Spring semester.

Awards given include the General Gold Star for those members of the campus community who went above and beyond in their duties in the past year. The Student Life Board began recognizing superlatives of Best Student Club, Best Club President, Best Advisor, Most Active Member, and Best On-Campus Program in 2008. At the Gold Star awards ceremony the Jersey Blues Athletic Department also recognizes Student Athlete scholars. These are second year students are two year athletic participants with the highest GPA in their sport.

 


2010 Awards

The 2010 Gold Star Awards Dinner was held on Thursday, May 7, 2010 at the Berkeley Hotel in Asbury Park, New Jersey.  The "Stars in our Midst" dinner had a masquarade theme.  See below for pictures (taken by Rollo of gotpicz.net) and the list of award winners.
