What are green jobs?

Green jobs can be any job that has something to do with energy conservation or increasing the supply of renewable or clean energy sources. They are not new occupations, but rather traditional occupations that may require an additional layer of green skills and knowledge.

They include construction workers, cost estimators, financial analysts, computer technicians, accountants, manufacturing workers, truck drivers, salespersons, scientists, carpenters, welders, engineers and many others. *
