The Western Monmouth Center offers over 200 credit and non-credit courses to the residents and employees of western Monmouth County. Classes are available mornings, afternoons, or evenings.
Brookdale credit courses serve over a twelve hundred students each term in a wide variety of general education subjects, as well as degrees in Humanities and Business, Education, Criminal Justice, and Social Science. Brookdale non-credit offerings include over 400 classes a year. The facility includes 25 classrooms, 3 computer labs, 3 distance-learning classrooms, a videoconference room, an Information Commons (electronic library), a demonstration kitchen for the Creative Cooking School (non-credit), a student lounge, and faculty and administrative offices.
The Western Monmouth Center is also the site for Brookdale's partnership with Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey (details below).

Displaced Homemakers Program
Provides assistance to people who have lost their primary source of income due to separation, divorce, disability or death of a spouse, as well as the welfare-to-work client, and need to obtain or upgrade their skills for transition into the paid labor market. The free services offered include self-esteem/ assertiveness training, personal and career counseling, pre-employment training, computer training, workshops, support groups and community referrals.

School Nurse Certification This certificate program is designed for the RN who wishes to be certified in school nursing in the State of NJ. The Western Monmouth Center is located on Route 9 South, ½ mile south of the Freehold Raceway Mall and Route 537 (West Main Street), behind the Bank of America.
FROM THE NJ TURNPIKE - Exit 8 - Take Route 33 East towards Freehold. Stay left after the intersection of Millhurst Road and exit at Route 537 East. Proceed to the second light, make a right onto Route 9 South and follow the directions above.
FROM SOUTHBOUND GARDEN STATE PARKWAY - Exit 123 - Take Route 9 South for approx. 18 miles to the intersection of Routes 9 & 537 and follow the directions above.
FROM NORTHBOUND GARDEN STATE PARKWAY - Exit 98 - Take I-195 West to Exit 28B - Route 9 North. Travel approx. 8 miles and take the jughandle after Schanck Road (just past a Dunkin Donuts) to go across Route 9 directly into the Campus parking lot behind the Bank of America.
