Published December 2009

Brookdale is pleased to announce that we are the recipient of the CampusEAI myCampus OnDemand Portal Grant.  We have been awarded a five-year cumulative total of $1,201,500 in CampusEAI myCampus software and services.

It should be noted that Brookdale is among prestigious colleges and Universities to receive this award such as Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Boston College, Southwestern Community College, Virginia State University, Adelphi University, Mohave Community College, Albany State Community College, and Rensselaer, just to name a few.

The myCampus OnDemand Portal will enable Brookdale to accomplish strategic IT goals and objectives by providing an integrated technology solution to better cater to the needs of the campus community. The myCampus On Demand Portal will provide all members of the campus community with “single sign-on” to their integrated teaching and learning interests, student services and extra-curricular parts of campus life.

These services and applications include but are not limited to:

·        Out-of-the-box single-sign-on to a variety of enterprise applications such as Colleague administrative systems, faculty, staff, and student email, and the Angel Learning Management System.

·        Facebook-style social networking features such as profile summary, friend list, instant messaging, blogs, message walls, and wikis.

·        Campus-specific web community site with personalized user accounts that integrate with Datatel to provide out-of-the-box features such as Grades, Unofficial Transcript, Account Summary and Class Schedule

We look forward to joining the members of the myCampus community so that Brookdale too can afford access to technology that will ensure that the institutional mission by providing reliable and efficient access to appropriate data and instruments is realized.
