POSTER CONTEST

The Brookdale International Education Center is excited to announce the Third Annual Poster Contest! We are again seeking talented people to help us put the idea of “One World, One Community" into an artistic vision for a poster to be used during the 2012-2013 academic year. The winner will receive a debit card worth $200. Deadline for entries is March 30, 2012. Information on eligibility, poster specifications, and entry can be found below or can be picked up at International Education Center in MAC 114. Cosponsored by the Office of Student Life and Activities.

Eligibility & Rules
1.) Open to individuals currently enrolled in a degree seeking program and attending Brookdale Community College.
2.) There is no age limit or residency requirement.
3.) Submissions are limited to one per individual.
4.) Finished posters should be 11" wide x 17" tall. Both an in-print and electronic copy must be provided. Submissions must be in either GIF, JPG format, or PDF format and must be in color. Use of copyrighted images will disqualify a submission from consideration. It is not mandatory to include the words “One World, One Community” on the poster but is strongly encouraged.
5.) The International Education Center reserves the sole right to refuse any entry that we deem to have inappropriate/offensive art, images or language.
6.) To enter, individuals must submit an electronic and printed version of the poster with a complete and signed entry form by March 30, 2012. The electronic version must be submitted by email to international@brookdalecc.edu.
7.) The winner will be announce on the April 11, 2012 during Global Citizenship Award Ceremony. The chosen poster will be reproduced and displayed around campus to promote "One World, One Community” theme.
8.) The winner is required to meet with the International Education Center staff should modifications or revisions to the poster be needed before the $200 gift card is issued.
9.) Once the image has been submitted it becomes property of the Brookdale Community College International Education Center and may be modified, reproduced, and distributed for any and all commercial purposes at the discretion of the College.
10.) Participation in the contest constitutes full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of the International Education Center, which are final and binding. Winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein in a timely manner.
