Scannapieco's 700th Win Celebration

h Thomas “Bo” Scannapieco with a commemorative plaque honoring his 700th victory.
The win, which was reached during the 2009 season, is the latest milestone in Scannapeico’s illustrious career that spans over 32 years at Brookdale (24 as head softball coach) and includes a spot in the National Junior College Athletic Association’s hall of fame. The plaque was sent as a gift by the National Fast Pitch Coaching Association.
His record, which now stands at 720-220, is regarded as the winningest of all Division III junior college softball coaches. Under his tutelage, Brookdale has won two NJCAA Division III national titles (2002, 2005), 13 Garden State Athletic Association titles, 14 Region XIX championships and four national runner-up finishes.
The 2010 softball season is slated to begin on Sunday, February 28th with a doubleheader at Del-Tech Stanton (DII).
