WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF A FITNESS EVALUATION? WHAT DOES AN EVALUATION CONSIST OF?
The purpose of a Fitness Evaluation is to determine your level of fitness. The results will be used to develop a personalized exercise program.
An evaluation consists of the following:
- Sub-maximal bike test to measure cardiovascular fitness
- Body Composition Analysis to determine percentage of body fat vs. lean tissue
- Strength testing
- Flexibility testing
- Blood pressure
- Resting heart rate and weight
HOW DO YOU MEASURE BODY FAT?
Body Composition (% of fat to lean muscle mass) reflects the results of both physical activity and diet. Weight alone can be very misleading. We measure body fat in two ways. We use skin fold measurements and the Biospace Body Composition Analyzer. The In Body provides a multi-frequency bioelectrical impedance analysis that is a reminder of your current metabolic rate.
HOW DO I SIGN UP?
Sign up simply by filling out the membership package. You may pick up a package in person or access it with this link - Membership Package. Memberships can be paid by check, money order, or credit card. Cash can be accepted for Daily memberships only.
