Professional Development

Brookdale collects information on faculty professional development activities each year via an annual "Faculty Professional Development Form" that includes items on Curriculum Development, College Service, Professional Growth, Conferences/Workshops attended, Exhibits, Current Research Projects, Sabbaticals, Community Service Activities, and Consulting Services.

Purpose

• The information gathered is reported in the College's Annual Institutional Profile.
• It is an individual compilation of each faculty's professional achievements for the Departmental Annual Report.
• The form is used to report faculty's use of their Professional Days.
• The components of the form match the required information for tenure and promotion packages.

The Professional Development form is your file of activities from July 1, 2011 to June 30, 2012.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR ACCESSING, SAVING AND SUBMITTING THE FORM:

You can access the Professional Development Form at: http://ux.brookdalecc.edu/rws5/rws5.cgi?FORM=1112FACPROFDEV_final

How to save the form so you can update and enter new information before submitting the form:

• Save the link to your bookmarks. You can open the bookmarked page at any time during the year to add information and resave the document by bookmarking until ready to send final form.

Submitting final form by June 1 2012:  

• When you have finished entering information, select SUBMIT. 

  The final form must be submitted using the electronic version.
