Brookdale 5, Bergen 1September 7th, 2010 - Former Howell teammates Alyssa Fiorillo and Sara Shaughnessy scored one minute apart to overcome an early goal as Brookdale (3-1-1) defeated Bergen 5-1. Aly Kent (Forked River, NJ/Lacey Twp.) made it 3-1 at half time with her first collegiate goal while Catherine Lovallo (Matawan, NJ/Old Bridge) scored twice in the second half to put away the victory. The Jersey Blues outshot the Bulldogs 28-6 as they start off their Garden State Athletic Conference slate at 3-0. Brookdale will host California’s Cerritos College on Saturday at 4 p.m.
