Alternate Route Teacher Programs
- Do you aspire to become a teacher but haven’t completed a traditional teacher preparation program?
- Do you want to teach children in grades K-12?
- Do you have expertise in career and technical fields such as Automotive Technology, Culinary Arts, Family and Consumer Sciences or Graphic Design?
You may be eligible for one of Brookdale’s Alternate Route Teacher Certification Programs. These comprehensive programs prepare you to enter the teaching profession by providing 200 hours of instruction in New Jersey Department of Education-approved programs.
New Pathways To Teaching – Designed for individuals with a Bachelor’s degree who are interested in teaching elementary, middle or high school students.
