Scroll & Pen Bookstore hours are always extended at the beginning of each term to support the textbook rush; please phone for details.
The Paddock Convenience Store is adjacent to the Scroll & Pen, and is open late each day. A full line of snacks, drinks, candy, supplies, newspapers and magazines, and best of all, a full-service espresso bar.
A Commerce Bank ATM machine is located in the Student Life Center entrance lobby, outside the Store (and another is in the upstairs Cafe area of Larrison Hall).
You can pay for your purchases in either venue with cash, credit cards, personal check and financial aid (where eligible). If paying by check, you'll need to show either your Brookdale ID or a driver's license. If paying via Financial Aid, there is a $5 minimum and students must show Brookdale ID.
Textbook Refunds & Returns Policy
• A receipt is required for all returns/exchanges.
• No returns on English or Humanities books unless you bring your Add/Drop form along with the original register receipt.
• Returns must be made during the first two weeks of Fall and Spring Terms, and during the first week of each of the 3 Summer terms.
• Books purchases after those times musts be returned within two days of purchase and must be in "as sold" condition.
• Refunds on books for noncredit courses must be returned no later than 2 days after the start of class.
Other Merchandise
• Receipt is required.
• Item may be returned within one week of purchase; must be in "as sold" condition.
• Final Sale and seasonal items are not returnable.
• Computer floppy disks and CDs are not returnable.
• All returns will be credited to original form of payment.
