Academic Violation

The Computer Science student has an obligation to exhibit honesty and high ethical standards in taking course tests and in completing course assignments.

The instructor of a Computer Science course has the authority to give a grade of 'F' in the course for the following reasons:

  1. If the instructor determines that a student submits the work of another person in a manner that represents the work as one's own.

  2. If a student knowingly permits his or her work to be submitted by another person without the instructor's authorization.

  3. If a student copies unauthorized information and uses it as one's own.

The Computer Science department adheres to the statements in the Answers Student Handbook regarding Brookdale's Academic Integrity Code, Student Conduct Code, and Student Grade Appeal Process.
