Brookdale Foundation

Every academic year, over 150 students receive scholarships with the help of the Brookdale Alumni and Foundation and the Brookdale Financial Aid Office. Students who complete the Free Application for Federal Student Financial Aid (FAFSA) are automatically considered. Some of these scholarships are especially for recent High School graduates. Assistance Plan Scholarship for Surviving Family Members of September 11

Brookdale has established the Assistance Plan Scholarship for Surviving Family Members of September 11. This scholarship will pay all tuition and all fees for credit courses for a student's first Associate Degree or Certificate for the Spouse and/or Dependent Children of Surviving Family Members of the September 11th Terrorist Attacks. The Brookdale Foundation also funds the additional costs for student’s books and supplies. For an application, click here

New Jersey World Trade Center Scholarship Fund

These funds have been established by the legislature to aid the dependent children and surviving spouses of New Jersey Residents who were killed in the terrorist attacks against the United States on September 11, 2001, or who are missing and officially presumed dead as a direct result of the attacks. Students attending Full Time will receive funds covering the costs of tuition and fees. For more information and Scholarship Application, click here.

A number of other scholarship funds have been established to assist families of people killed or permanently disabled in the terrorist attacks on America on September 11, 2001. Scholarships are available for victims' dependent children and spouses.
