Our long established Nursing Program fulfills all the requirements for an Associate Degree in Applied Science – graduates are prepared for entry level positions in acute care hospitals and long term care facilities, as well as being eligible to sit for the National Council Licensing Exam for Registered Nursing. (Successful completion of this exam results in licensure as an RN.) Brookdale-trained nurses are employed in all aspects of nursing in health care facilities in Monmouth and Ocean County, New Jersey, and across the US.

The Radiologic Technology Program is also a full-time A.A.S. professional degree, which leads to employment as a radiologic technician  performing diagnostics and direct care of patients using specialized radiographic equipment.

The Respiratory Care Program also offers an A. A. S. professional degree, leading to employment working with patients in the treatment, management and control of problems and abnormalities associated with the cardiopulmonary system.

Registered Nurses
For the Metropolitan NY/NJ area – 122,780 are employed with an annual mean wage of $90,840 working in hospitals, physicians offices, home health care, care facilities, and outpatient care centers. Radiologic Technicians
For the Metropolitan NY/NJ area – 8,360 are employed with an annual mean wage of $71,690 working in hospitals, physicians offices, medical and diagnostic labs, and outpatient care centersview this report here.
