Politics & Debate Camp (Grades 7-10)

Gregory Caggiano, historian, instructor, presidential scholar, blogger

Calling all young debaters and politicians! Join us as we take a look at different social and political theories, laws, and governments from around the world and how they were used in society. Current “hot topics” events, and what’s going on in the world will guide us throughout the week as we discuss and debate them. Time will also be devoted to examining different moments from history. No two programs are alike! Be prepared for an intense week of debating and critical thinking. Debate teams are welcome to bring their own material to sharpen their skills with the help of the instructor.
