Conduct a week-long investigation into the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. Did Lee Harvey Oswald act alone or was he part of a conspiracy? Study audiovisual evidence, eye witness statements, and medical reports to see if we can find the answer. The camp will end with a debate and mock trial of Lee Harvey Oswald.

Paranormal Investigators Wanted!

Are you a fan of ghost hunting shows on TV? Fascinated by this intriguing subject? This is your chance for hands-on experience using such equipment as EMF and K-2 Meters, the SB-7 radio, static detectors, and laser grids. You will go through all the methods and technology used by ghost hunters in the field. Explore the Salem Witch Trials, Amityville, and Roswell. Examine audiovisual evidence as well as the history and background behind famous legends and lore. Note: this camp deals with theories and assessments of unexplained phenomena that may not be suitable for some children.

Politics and Debate Camp

Calling all young debaters and politicians! Join us as we take a thoughtful look at different social and political theories and laws, and their application in governments and societies around the world. Current “hot topic” events, and what’s going on in the world will guide us throughout the week as we discuss and debate. Time will also be devoted to examining different moments from history. No two days will be alike! Be prepared for an intense week of organized debating and critical thinking. Debate teams are welcome to bring their own material to sharpen their skills.

War and Battle Tactics History Camp

Join us as we examine famous battles and wars throughout history. We will explore the weapons and technology used as well the tactics employed by commanders to win each battle. From Ancient Rome through World War II and Vietnam, this camp will cover it all. By registering you are giving permission to view PG-13 rated film clips that may include battlefield violence. We will also attempt to stage our own Nerf battles using the tactics we are exploring.
