From collecting sea creatures in Sandy Hook Bay, hunting for fossils from the ocean’s past, to exploring our changing coastal environments, lighthouses, historic Fort Hancock and more, join us for 5 days of discovery at our Jersey seashore. Our daily Ocean Adventure field trips and activities are so much fun it will be hard to believe how much you are learning. Science, history, weather and the ocean will never look the same after you’ve gained a mariner’s point of view.

NEW! Lenape Exploration at Sandy Hook
Join us for a week of field trips to Sandy Hook and the surrounding area to explore the former territory of the Lenni Lenape and Navesink Indian tribes. The New Jersey coast was their home for hundreds of years, and we will explore the areas and resources they used to survive and thrive. Hunt for artifacts and arrowheads, go on woodland hikes, study and gather plants and fruits, make our own jewelry and tools from what we find on the beach, and even go fishing the Navesink way. Join us for a week of fun and discovery as the history and survival of our area’s first inhabitants is revealed.
