New! Theater and Storytelling: From Page to Stage

Bring your storytelling creativity from the page to the stage. Inspired and led by award winning children’s author and artist, Janine L. Kimmel (The Magic Gown and The Yawning Rabbit River Chronicle), this original and imaginative week will lead campers to the creation of their own story that comes to life on stage. Three days of classroom collaboration and inspiration will be followed by two days of performing arts center production. Camp includes storytelling ideas and prompts from the instructor’s books that include maps, poems, songs, dreams, the natural world and real life experiences that all come together to create an original stage production.
