The New Jersey Council for the Humanities is proud to announce its new program, the Democracy Conversation Project. Funded through the “Why it Matters: Civic and Electoral Participation” initiative, the Democracy Conversation Project (DCP) is a public humanities program designed to foster discussions among New Jersey communities about civic life and democracy in America.
Under the direction of Professor Jonathan Moschberger, Political Science, students from his American National Government honors course will make a presentation on the topic of ‘Youth Voting: From Suppression to Expression: The Transformative Power of Education’ for the Democracy Conversation Project on March 26th from 10am-11:30am.
