Alumni Career Panel & Networking Luncheon
March 30 at 11:30 am
Networking with alumni can be a crucial step for college students as they prepare to enter the workforce. Alumni can offer valuable insight into their industries, share advice on career paths and job opportunities, and serve as mentors to help students navigate the challenges of transitioning from school to the work force. Building relationships with alumni can also provide students with a valuable network if contacts that can be leveraged into their future job searches. In many cases, alumni are willing to offer referrals or introductions to their own personal contacts, providing students with a valuable leg-up in the job market. Networking with alumni can also help students gain a better understanding of what employers are looking for in job candidates and what skills and experiences they should be developing to make themselves more marketable. By learning from experiences and perspectives of those who have already navigated the transition from college to the workforce, students can gain a valuable edge in their own job searches and career development. Light refreshments will be provided.
Open to current students, Brookdale alumni, and faculty.
