Designated a National Historic Landmark in 2007, Beth Sholom is the only synagogue designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. A strikingly arching wire-glass structure topped in fiberglass that looks something between a tri-corn hat and a translucent peak – Wright himself once referred to it as a “luminous Mount Sinai”. Following a family style lunch at Maggiano’s experience a guided tour of The Philadelphia Masonic Temple. Constructed in 1873 and adored with some of the finest artifacts of Freemasonry and magnificent Lodge rooms this temple has been called one of the “wonders” of the Masonic world.
