Civility Week: “Stories of Undocumented Immigrants Past and Present”

February 17 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

“Stories of Undocumented Immigrants Past and Present”

Immigration has become a polarizing political issue, especially undocumented immigration. Many people have a stereotypical idea of what an undocumented immigrant looks like and where the 6 immigrant comes from. Yet, undocumented immigrants have been part of history for quite some time. They have come from various countries and fallen into “undocumented” status for various reasons. Join us as we examine a history of undocumented immigration in the United States through the stories of immigrants, both those of the past and those from today.

Presented by Dr. Ashley Zampogna-KrugAssistant Professor of History, & Frank Wyman Scholarship Students Jesus Calle Bula and Bianca Japitana
