Every Day, October 29th – Thursday, November 11th
At the Paramount Lounge in the Student Life Center
9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Please stop by the Paramount Lounge at the Student Life Center to contribute to the “Hands of Hope” travelling art exhibit from the Amanda’s Easel Creative Arts Therapy Program–180: Turning Lives Around.
This year’s Domestic Violence Awareness Month creative arts project is focused on the metaphor of hands, lending hope to others.
With the absence of physical handshakes and hugs we can still embrace those who are in need of support, encouragement, and healing. We do this by by listening, sharing, reaching out, advocating and speaking up for all those who have felt silenced.
We invite you to take part in our community art exhibit by writing a message of hope, words of inspiration or actions that can help end domestic violence in our community. The “Hands of Hope” Interactive Exhibit is sponsored by the WILL: Women in Learning and Leadership Academic Program and on loan from Amanda’s Easel Creative Arts Therapy Program–180: Turning Lives Around.
WILL is still accepting donations for the organization through the gofundme page. #every1knowssome1
