Human Trafficking International Panel

November 18, 2021 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Featuring Global Citizenship Distinction students from Brookdale, and students from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Goiás (Brazil)

Join via Zoom: https://brookdalecc.zoom.us/j/98373965787

This year, the Global Citizenship Distinction Cohort is working on the theme of Human Trafficking. This is a critical topic that concerns everyone worldwide. Our students are working hard and laying out a host of activities across the campus, online and in the community, to create an awareness and raise their voices, to stop this evil practice from affecting the lives of people. And they are also participating in a Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) project with Brazilian students attending PUC Goiás.

During International Education Week (Nov 15th through 19th ), there are campus-wide activities to celebrate the special significance of international educational exchange. To that end, some of our GCD students are presenting with their peers from Brazil, on the ramifications of Human Trafficking in the US and Brazil, from a multidisciplinary perspective.

Zoom in, do not miss this rare opportunity to hear and learn from students here and abroad as we collaborate with our Brazilian partners.

Please e-mail Dr. Raj Wesley if you need any more information at rwesley@brookdalecc.edu.
