No Stigma Network

No Stigma Network, Inc. is dedicated to eliminating stigma bias associated with mental illness through support, advocacy, education, and outreach. Founder Shrabanee Shah and Vice President Linda VanMelis will speak about the direct links between opioid addiction and mental health. Additionally, they will cover how addiction affects those with mental health disorders differently.

Shrabanee Shah           

Shrabanee Shah is the Founder and President of the No Stigma Network, Inc. as well as a support group facilitator. She has been a  passionate advocate for acceptance of  mental health challenges as true illnesses, without bias, for every culture, race, gender, and age. She created the No Stigma Network for adults 18 and over to provide them with a place where they can challenge themselves and excel after the traditional school environment.

Linda VanMelis

Linda VanMelis is the MSW Vice President and Communications Chairperson as well as a support group facilitator and YAAC advisor. Linda has had many years of experience in self-help organizations dealing with mental illness.  She has been involved in NSN since 2013 where she has used her hard earned skills and knowledge to help individuals and family members dealing with mental health challenges.
