Rain Witness
By Ed Ryterband, PhD
Author and poet Ed Ryterbrand will guide us through his observations of the everyday events that give meaning to life. His journey encourages us to stop, take note, and create a more fruitful experience of our own lives. Stops along the way include savoring the summer rain, revisiting relationships lost and found, and taking fresh notice of religion and politics. He shares his meditations on cantaloupes, jazz, and giraffes at the zoo, before pulling his lens back to examine his life and his aging. Finally, Ed tells us how he resolves to keep going, and how he will stay engaged and vibrant in the years ahead. Rain Witness is Ed Ryterband’s third published collection of poems.
With great passion and poignancy, Ed Ryterband bares his soul, allowing us to share his journey as the aging process unfolds and a new understanding illuminates his life.

A gratifying union of humor and reflection, Ryterband’s jokes, ponderings, myths, and visions represent a man responding to a life well lived. This collection is a considerate retrospective, piecing together life’s moments to make sense of time and how it passes.
