Far From Your Ordinary Summer Program!

Brookdale Community College and Voyagers’ Community School are proud to announce a free, innovative, pre- vocational and social summer program for individuals with developmental disabilities, between the ages of 18-24.

This is a robust and well- balanced summer learning experience in life and consumer skills, self-advocacy, healthy habits, and innovative uses of technology. Program offerings will be focused on career readiness, job coaching, and group projects targeting a variety of job and social skills.

Participation in activities and experiences will strengthen students’ soft and career skills, increase self awareness, and expand their knowledge of careers and jobs.

The program will also offer STEAM activities, Music, Arts and Crafts, Gardening and Landscaping, Outdoor Adventures, Nature Walks, Games, Therapy Dog Visits, and more!

Acceptance is based on an interview. Upon registration you will receive an email confirmation with a link to sign up for an interview.
