Join Student Life & Activities and the Black Student Union as we celebrate Black History Month with the True Black History Museum virtual experience on 2/16 at 11:45am.
This museum was established to preserve the history of African-American people and to educate others of the many great contributions that African-Americans have made to humanity. The museum’s collection is comprised of over 1000 authentic artifacts, with original documents from historic figures such as Booker T. Washington, Mary McLeod Bethune, George Washington Carver, Rosa Parks, Frederick Douglass, Angela Davis, President Barack Obama, and many more! This virtual experience will take attendees on a virtual journey through the African-American experience, examining the historical significance of a number of the aforementioned artifacts and learning about their impact on us today!
